Create Item Templates.

Idea.

I play SSF often.
The end of my league is when i cant progress because of gear limits.
Ill need to try to 5 or 6 link an item im wearing.

In theory will have enough materials to have good odds.
Fail to get the links or the colors or the socket count ...
Run out of materials... and the league ends there as the character is bricked.


Id like them to introduce Item templates.

Works like this ....

You take an item you have ... The sword of a thousand truths.

1) You put it in the cloner press a button.
2) It creates a template ... it is the same item but not usable or equipable. It looks like a ghost version of your item ...
3) You can then craft against the item as if it were a real item, altering sockets , colors etc .. you can craft it.
4)If you get it to something you like you can then put it back in the cloner, WITH THE ORIGINAL and ONLY the original item it was cloned from and press a button ... the item is then recombined destroying the template but transfering its stats to the origin item .

It takes away the inhibitions of trying to craft items and bricking them .
Encourages using up crafting materials and trying to make items.

I fully understand the implication ...
I just don't care .. should be a SSF league mechanic ....
