Start now or when kalguur comes out?

I am a brand new player,

Should i play now or wait until Kalguur comes out?

You could create a character in Standard league, to get to know the game a bit. That way you will not lose any progress or items, as tomorrow the existing leagues end and everything will eventually migrate over to the Standard/parent leagues.

When Settlers of the Kalguur launches on Friday/Saturday depending on your time zone, then you are free to start a brand new character in the new league. Your Standard character will still be there in Standard.
