In-Game Skill Gem Browser with Filtering Options

I've been enjoying my time with Path of Exile, but there's one feature I believe would greatly enhance the gameplay experience: an in-game skill gem browser with filtering options.

Currently, players often rely on external websites like poegems.com to understand which support gems work best with their active skills, as looking at the skill gems in the shop doesn't offer a holistic view of how everything is going to work. While these resources are incredibly helpful, having this functionality integrated into the game would provide several benefits:

Discover Synergies: An in-game browser would allow players to quickly identify which support gems are compatible with their active skills, making build planning more efficient and intuitive. This is meaningful because hovering over gems to see their compatibility is too fine-grained of an approach currently.

Discover Skills: Seeing skills that would be equippable based on your stats would give players an easy way to discover how to expand or change their build while not looking at all the skills for other classes and stat investments that don't apply to their situation.

Experiment and Learn: Encouraging players to try out new combinations without needing to leave the game would help them understand the mechanics better and foster a more engaging gameplay experience.

Accessibility: Integrating this feature would make the game more accessible to new players who might not be aware of external resources. It would also streamline the experience for veterans who want to experiment with different builds.

Convenience: By reducing the need to search for information outside the game, players can save time and effort, allowing them to focus more on enjoying the game.

The skill gem browser could include filtering options by tags (e.g., spell, melee, AoE, duration) and show compatible support gems for any given skill gem. This would be a valuable tool for both new and experienced players, enhancing the overall quality of life in Path of Exile.

Torchlight Infinite actually has such a feature built into the game already, and I find it invaluable. Not only does it pre-filter out skills so that you're only looking at compatible options for any given skill gem, it even tells you damage calculations and such as well. There are loads of additional features and such too.
