Help with combining accidentally split item

Sorry this happened to you, frustrating for sure. It doesn't help, but I do know it happened to a lot of people this league.


1. As many have said, its not fixable. If one of the splits is good, you can try crafting on it and using/selling.

2. Splitting is actually very useful in crafting when working with rare bases. Some base items go for 100's of divines. Splitting a base has no downsides, because you don't care about the current mods, You'll be rerolling it anyway. You

3. The wording of "copy" can seem misleading, but it is in line with the rest of the split mechanics. Take it as a POE lesson, we all get them at some point. GGG uses very specific wording. If anything is ever unclear, check the wiki, at a minimum.

4. Ways to split:

-fracture fossil
-beast craft
-gravecraft


5. Short list of uses for splits:

- uncorrupted vaal temple maps
- expedition logbooks
- heist blueprints
- item bases for crafting (tip: you can eldritch implicit an armor base before splitting and the copy will also have them. you CAN NOT harvest enchant or tailor orb the base, it will prevent the split)

In the context of Graveyard I havent read/seen any good non-niche use case for split corpse. I have used it myself but it seems to be quite rare for it to be a beneficial addition.
