It has come to my attention, after some mild research (reddit posts, youtube videos), that this game obviously has influencers: people that get to the end of the game faster than the casual or normal player. I find it hard to believe that the creators or the developers of this game didn't know that certain (item) mods would interact as they do before being nerfed. In my wild imagination, I believe that the influencers or racers are the ones that get access to the busted mods before they are patched to help influence players that are lower than them to chase these said mods. The top players find the best combination of things to do and then they post about it, which motivates the lower tier players to chase for that -- but there's a patch in between that lowers the power of these interactions so as not to skew the economy too much. I started Necropolis league about 4 days after it started, and it takes me way too long to get to endgame. That being said, my involvement with certain modes was different than it is now. For example, when I got the chance to drop chaos orbs, I would get anywhere between 30 and 60 chaos. Every time. I got that mod using the appropriate allflame. After a patch it dropped to about ten to sixteen chaos a mod with allflame. Again: that's after a patch. It's now better just to run the mod with no allflame. With this all being said, I understand it is to motivate and to fix it, so it does not break the economy. But it still sucks as a lower player trying to find something that a higher player has interacted with, and I will never get the opportunity because it's been nerfed for me not to get the opportunity. For the economy sake. I normally charge for this. Well, okay, I'd probably rewrite the lot if we're talking a job, but still. And I'd ask for clarification re: allflame and mod. Still, did my best. As an actual response to the OP? I see neither feedback nor a suggestion really. So...uh, what are we meant to say? Yep, it do be that way? It's been an Us and a Them for as long as I can remember. Priority Access to new league given to influencers/streamers, anyone? Hell, it was probably all over red rover the moment they let influencers and streamers into Alpha. I remember when a certain one I won't name broke Alpha NDA for a video and would have been banned for it but for the chaching he was bringing in. Not GGG's finest hour. So yeah, I dunno. Maybe become an influencer if you want that special treatment. Let me wave my magical 'shazam! you are now a popular influencer, enjoy all that greener grass now you're on the other side oh and don't mind the psychological burnout waiting for you any given morning' wand. If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.
