Desecrate and raise spectre

Hi there...
A friend just told me this: he enters a map, raises spectres, so they are in the pool of his following desecrates. So far, so good. But he says, that those Spectres are still in the desecrate pool in all later maps, and this is in contradiction to desecrates own description. There, it is clearly stated, that desecrate raises "...any spectres that have existed in THIS instance" so how can what that friend told me be true???

Whilst not stated anywhere, your character has a spectre pool.
When you enter the instance, then they exist in the instance to.
Thus they now exist in the instance.
