Domain of timeless conflict rewards missing

Was running a 5 way domain of timeless conflict.
Down to the last few seconds as I was running around near the area with the portal back to Hideout. Not sure if I accidentally clicked on the portal, but I returned to my HO, and I'm very sure it was not a death since I had no exp loss and my auras were still on. Anyway I went back into the domain of timeless conflict but it was totally empty? Took me forever to accumulate the splinters.. It's my first time posting so I've got the screenshot i just don't know how to make it show here. Sorry about this. Last bumped on Jun 10, 2024, 1:56:09 PM

whoa is that true? I've never experienced that! That is ridiculous design....

" Yes, this has been the case for some time (years) - it was to prevent an old exploit originally. It is the same for Cortex and some other endgame boss encounters as well. Edit: also, if you die, you need to remain dead on the floor until the boss loot drop animation completes. Leave the arena = no loot or map completion. 😹😹😹😹😹 I do not and will not use TFT.
