MTX System Needs a Revamp
MTX system can use another pass, given how the game is monetized, making it better improves the users experience as well as gives more options in the future.
In no particular order of issues: Including every mtx in the next pack (since almost forever) means the randomize option is not good, as we don't have the option to exclude portal options we don't want. Best example I can think of is dota 2, it gives you the ability to select couriers, wards, ect in rotation, but leave others out. Effects tied to MTX, rather then the unlocking of them. This is clear with helms most recently, purple health bar, alt mtx for enemies health bar and div card opening could all be something a player would like together, but currently not an option. In addition forcing a player to wear a specific helm to get an effect where IMO helms are the item I want equipped the least on my character means I need to pick between having what I want my character to look like and effects that I could otherwise have with a different system. Tracking MTX character bound instead of character\league bound is also annoying, want to play on an alt for a bit, gotta remember to equip your ring for picking up currency or for footsteps. Wait you want to use other ring MTX, you can't because its tied to that instead of being an account mtx. Perhaps its just a side effect of trying to add more cool effects to sell packs, but the space will continue to get crowded either nullifying previous mtx purchases by not allowing players to use more then 1-2 mtx that are tied to specific slots, that could otherwise just be account mtx, allowing a player to use more of their purchases. Another example of an account effect, tied to an MTX slot is fusing effect. I'm not a UI designer or programmer, so my only recommendation of a good example is dota 2's system. Where players have the ability to create custom sets of stuff to mix and match. Ya i thought of this too. They should separate the MTX effect from the Item MTX.
Because sometimes i like the effect the Item gives me but not the Items look itself. Items are pretty expensive so i think they could give us some color options by default, like green, yellow, red and blue. Maybe even a bar to select the color we want completely freely. |

" Yeah thats the biggest thing is allowing you to use the effects without the mtx equipped for helm or whatever. I'm not sure about color options, it would be nice and likely something they can or do already somewhat, but they typically charge for different colors of things, so depends.
