cartography scarab of corruption does not respect void stone

Ran a t16 Pit of the Chimera map with 170% IIQ with a cartography scarab (50% increased maps) and a scarab of corruption (non unique maps drop as corrupt with 8 mods). Two maps dropped, a corrupt identified t16 with 8 modifiers and a corrupt unidentified t2 with 8 modifiers. I have all 4 void stones allocated, so nothing lower than t16 should be dropping.

Also, I am dismayed that only 2 maps dropped with a scarab supposedly increasing maps by 50%.

It depends on where the map dropped. Not all maps dropped respect Voidstones to begin with, such as Deli rewards, Strongboxes, etc. Someone made a more thorough breakdown in their bug report of what maps dropped 8-mod from what mechanic, etc. Possibly intended at this point.. we'll see what GGG says.

As for only 2 maps dropping, a single map test is nothing. I've been farming 8-mod maps to self-run for weeks now and there are a ton of different strategies I've yet to try. I think my best run was 16 8-mod maps in one map, but I also had 2 dupe map altars. Had several in those same tests that low roll 2-3 maps. Need a larger test pool, or possibly a better strategy.

For reference, that 16 map run was also in am 8-mod Jungle (no boss altars) so more base packs and by the end almost double the IIQ than your Chimera map. I've since switched to shrines for more consistency and faster maps as shrines add base packs, or more map drops/altar potential. Some of those maps end up with like 8-10 altar spawns, so even more chance at dupe map mod or quant mods.

My limited test pool suggests that running an 8 mod corrupted map with corrupt strongboxes helps increase the number of 8 mod corrupt map drops. I think my best was 5 in one map. I assumed that while running maps with my atlas (ie not kirac, not in any special situation) that the void stones would be respected. Most of my drops were t16 but I did end up with a t11 and a t15. I can conceivably see no maps dropping (even though without those scarabs I got lots of other map drops, all t16) but I'm having difficulty understanding corrupt t2s dropping. If you have a link to the other bug report I'd like to read it.

Shaper maps aren't on the Atlas of Worlds. This isn't a bug.
