Does Bane work with curse mastery - recover life/mana when you curse a non cursed enemy

As thread title says, i'm trying to understand if Bane, that has a curse linked, will work with the curse mastery node 'recover life/mana when you curse a non cursed enemy'?

I don't know, but it should be trivial to test. Take Vaal Pact and that curse mastery on some old character in standard, link bane to a curse, go to Blood Acqueducts or similar, get enemies to hit you, and then cast bane and see if you get anything back.

This mastery has at least one pitfall – it doesn't work with aura curses (like from Blasphemy). But other than that, it should work according to the wording (which implies it pairs well with curses inflicted via Bane).

Not exactly. "You curse" generally means when you actually press the keybind to use the curse. So triggered curses will not normally work with stuff like this.

Bane has always been slightly different when it comes to curses but this could be tested in 2 minutes as well if someone really wanted the answer.

It helped me to test it out myself. Answer, when taking Vaal Pact and then this curse mastery, then using Bane with a curse attached, then applying Bane to an uncursed enemy, then i was recovering health as expected.

TLDR - Bane with curses attached + curse mastery 'recover life/mana' = works

It never meant that to my knowledge. Do you have something in mind that works this way?

Well I did a little testing and I am in the wrong here. The recover does work with at least hextouch support which I never thought it did.

And for the OP this does work with bane.
