Bleed Immunity
With the Armour and Evasion Mastery "Immune to Bleeding if Equipped Helmet has higher Armour than Evasion Rating" allocated, using a Usurper's Penance helmet which has no Evasion Rating, I bled to death. It was pointed out to me by a friend that it's possible Vulnerability negates the immunity. If this is not a bug and is an intended interaction, the mastery should not be worded "immunity" since that would not be immunity. If it's a bug, please fix. It's incredibly frustrating to allocate a mastery for the explicit purpose of avoiding dying to bleeds, only to die to a bleed.

I don't appear to be able to replicate this. Even in a map with "Players are cursed with Vulnerability", I don't get inflicted with bleed unless I take the helmet off--and, in fact, putting the helmet back on removes any active bleed on me.
Are you sure it was bleed? What types of enemies were you fighting, and what content were you doing? |

Was it corrupted blood? That is not counted as a bleed.

was likely corrupted blood or one of the other similar phys dots that isn't bleed.

Just for clarification, I have both corrupted blood immunity via Protection Mastery and Bleed Immunity via Armour and Evasion Mastery. The monster that killed me was a rare Devourer. I don't recall every modifier on the mob, but I know it had a increased physical damage aura and I got the audio "trickling" sound as if I was bleeding while I watched my life drain down to 0. I checked POEdb and there's no mention of any Devourer abilities that do any sort of DOTs. I'd LOVE to know what new brand of bullshit is killing me so that I can incorporate MORE defensive layers into my build, though.

I'm not sure if the pack itself can be all devourers, but Nameless Devourer is one of the potential pack leaders for packs replaced by this Allflame Ember. Nameless Devourers create a Boiling Blood ground effect around where they unburrow. Boiling Blood deals physical damage over time. So, if you're standing close to them (maybe even if you're not too close if the map has increased area of effect?), you will suffer from physical DoT. " It's possible, thanks for bringing that to light. With bleeding immunity and corrupted blood immunity, it seems a little redundant to have yet ANOTHER blood degen to worry about. It seems like every league there's new and exciting ways to negate any steps we take to defend ourselves. Pretty soon 100% of our passive skill trees will have to be defensive allocations just to stay alive. Anyway, mini-rant over.
