tainted jeweller's orb not working

Hi, i have a 5 socket corrupted unique body armour. I tried using tainted jeweller's orb on it and then it says that it has maximum number of sockets

The maximum number of sockets you can achieve on an item without using the crafting bench is based on its item level.
I believe an item has to be at least item level 50 to be able to reach 6 sockets using jeweller's orbs. |
