Does Chain work with Spark?

I've been using Spark and Fork quite happily, but I have the opportunity to try a different linkup system, and before I attempt to fuse it, I'd like to know if Spark actually profits from Chain. Thanks much!

I mean I can see the gem increases the cost and has a little c in the icon, but it seems or appears odd in implementation - the sparks seem to move randomly (as before, as intended) but not to branch towards nearby enemies. Not sure what that means.

Last time i checked this it "seemed" to work and as far as i can tell, it seemed as if a chained spark will instantly "spark" a nearby mob, so it had no travel time at all.

Hmm thanks maybe my computer or eyes are too slow. Would also explain, if no travel time, why I am not seeing the sparks "move" in a chainlike fashion. How do you tell they are hitting?
