Suggestions for the POE 2 shadow class

I just wanted to post some ideas for the shadow class's traps, which i'm anticipating. Some ideas may prove unneccessary once i see the reveal for the class.

I know the reveal hasn't happened yet but i just had a few ideas today.

First of all, would a tripping mechanic be considered ? Like having mobs losing balance and falling on the ground ? I suspect there are no plans for it as it would require tons of animation work but it would be super cool and many traps could be considered based on it.

Now some ideas unrelated to tripping:

Animal or insect-based traps : Cages of rats, wasp containers etc that attack mobs in the vicinity once triggered and chase them. In the case of insects (maybe locusts) why not make them replicate over mob corpses by eating them and then search for new target for a while ?

Assembly-like traps, requiring a specific setup to be fully functionnal :
- tripwire-trigger based traps using 2 points (or maybe the second point could be thrown or dashed to)

- 3-part triangle-shaped traps with more power, that definitely take a little time to setup but rewards the player with a much bigger punch. The idea is to use this skill as a real trap, in advance from combat, and not something you instantly throw on mobs's feet to get it triggered right after that. As for the payload it could be anything : explosion, fire/cold/lightning field (this one would particularly make sense for the 3 part structure), acid spray, poison gas

- x-parts traps that react one to the other, a bit like the lightning rod skill but this time the traps would react to the one that gets triggered. Like scattered traps provoking a massive explosion from several places at once etc.

- x part throwable traps, same idea, but these traps would deal lower damage, be magnetic/ ball-shaped looking and move towards the last trap that got triggered untill they all trigger at this spot. Can be used to cover more ground first then focus the damage on the most resistant target without having to make it run over all of them.

- instant AOE based traps : caltrops, oil traps in the vein of the mercenary's oil grenade

- repeater crossbow trap that shoots in a line (or cone) repeatedly untill out of ammo as long as it gets triggered. Allows for covering an area, not neccessarily working as a totally functionnal turret but could go that way too.

- static noisemaker/lure : aggro-based lure that works like the mechalarm belt skill in POE 1

- moving lure : a small mechanical construct that aggroes mobs on its way while moving,

both lures leaving opportunities to the shadow for movement, easy attacks etc.

- throwable traps : little grenades that explode on working over them and so on.
