Infinite Spawning Stuck Abyss

Underground river map had an abyss that got stuck it almost looks like it was stuck in/on or behind the hoard. and just continually spit out small amounts of mobs slowly never ending. I couldn't click the hoard to stop it because that area was blocked by the abyss itself. It wasn't spitting out a ton of mobs almost felt like the amount it would when it was traveling.

Update: Maybe it's just this map, had it happen again the the next one i did, this time no hoard for it to get stuck on; it just wanted to get real intimate with that wall in particular.

Had the same thing happen to me just now, except mine was in Ashen Wood and the Hoard where the monsters kept coming out spawned right next to two trees.
