Destructive play blocks tier 17 maps from dropping

I haven't dropped a single tier 17 map in the past 2 or 3 days. I found this thread opened by someone else https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3508978/page/1 and noticed that he also plays destructive play. I removed it and in the first map i dropped 2 tier 17 maps.

I have been specced into Destructive Play for the majority of the league and dropped like 60-70 T17 maps so far (made over 50 Writs for context) and have seen T17 drops from the extra bosses. It is not related.

I do have a random theory that favorited maps however can cause issues, but possibly not related for you. I was averaging around 4-5 maps in every 20 maps for several sets, put Cemetery as all my favorite slots, then did not get any. Removed favorite slots, started getting drops again. But it was only a 20-map set so probably coincidental low roll.

Well, i told you my experience. I had 2 days with hundreds of maps with no t17. Then i remove destructive play and first map i drop 2 t17. Guess it could be a coincidence. Or it can also be destructive play in conjunction with something else ...

I assume you had all 4 watchstones running T16 maps for those 2 days.
What other things were you running content-wise to compare if someone else reports it? (there's a bug with Deli, Maven, and Elder combined for example)
Running any passives/scarabs to boost the chance for maps?
Did you have any favorite maps?
Any loot filter changes during those days? Dumb question.. but always a possibility they got disabled by accident in-between if you're doing auto-update stuff.

At some point i bought a t17 to test the loot filter, it was ok.
The tree i was running mainly had the necropolis mechanic, scarabs and destructive play with the nodes for guardians (and the few nodes left i had on immortal syndicate).
Yes, i have a few favored maps.
An yes, of course i had all 4 watchstones.

I tested a bit now again and every time i have destructive play no t17 drop. When i take it off, i occasionally get t17's.
