Ambush Scarab of Containment prevent altars from spawning

Not a single altar is spawned when killing monsters contained in strongboxes. Is that intentional or a bug?
If that is intentional, what else is different for "natural" map monsters that are contained in strongboxes? Are they also not affected by other mechanics like IIR and IIQ? Last bumped on Apr 15, 2024, 9:01:51 PM
