How are players getting 8k+ Energy Shield?

Guys,
How are players getting 8k+ Energy Shield? I did some calculations and it looks like getting over 6k is difficult. On your gear you'd have: 250 - helm 600 - chest 150 - boots 300 - Shield 50 - belt On your stats you'd have: 213 + 60% Increased from passives + int 20% More from passives 200 from Discpline That adds up to around 6k. How are people gettng 8k+? The chance to Vaal +1% maximum resists on an amulet is less than 1/300.

Uh considering you forgot the % improvements from rings and necklaces and flat stat boosts.
Then your values for gear are way off. 400 ES helm is possible. over 1000 on chest is possible. over 500 on shield is possible. etc etc |

The ES from discipline gets the increase of ES too, so your own example would lead to 7k ES alone. The ES stats you postet are rather low anyway.

" getting over 6k is indeed difficult. the ones who get over 8k are few and far between, and they have far better ES gear than the values which you've mentioned. Examples:

I have nearly 7k, and could be over if I swapped my shield. I use these:

and I could have more by dual weilding ephemeral edges (tried it) but i lose a good bit of dps from the shield and ofc block too however useful it may be. Same goes for ratpith globe, tried one on but lose too much dps though that one boosts my defense quite a bit. |
