BAMA skills - issues with AI targeting
The transfigured versions of BAMA gems are buggy as hell when it comes to tracking and shooting an enemy or a pack.
For example, with bombarding clones, as soon as I spawn them on mouse location, they ignore the closest targets, instead shooting rain of arrows towards targets further behind. The bombarding clones are not supported by a predator gem, so they should target the closest hostiles. That is the intention of my re-summon: while relocating to a safer position, I spawn a clone to deal with the targets that might follow me around, but this doesn't happen. Test this bug with the following setup: Mirror Arrow of Bombarding Clones Minion Damage Fresh Meat Concentrated Effect Elemental Damage with Attacks Spawn a clone as close as possible to the nearest enemy pack. After spawn, the clone will shoot targets further away, not the nearest ones. It will kill the nearest ones once the furthest initial target is gone. If you use meat shield in your links they will focus on enemies around you. Not a great solution, but it helps if your map has alot of proxy shield mobs or just high density maps in general.

Yet another league where AI targeting is borked.
Especially with the new tree defending mechanics (ore tree), the BAMA clones are useless, they just randomnly shoot targets in the back of the pack, not the closest ones. Will GGG ever fix this weird behavior? It's like the bombardment clones have 'far shot' included by default, change them to point blank :) @sevens67 I am using Meat Shield support, still useless, the bombardment ROAs fly towards the back of the mobs, anything in point blank range is ignored entirely. I'm running an impale BAMA setup atm, slowly getting currency for some minion chance to taunt, but the AI targeting is lame... Last edited by CopiumTV#7421 on Aug 13, 2024, 5:58:18 PM
