I am Sorry, I find this League and the Direction of the Recent Patches very Bad

Dear developers,

hyperinflation 2.0, permanent annoying noises (Call to Arms Support, goblin radio, Automation Support), uber content now part of the base game and no longer aspirational (previously only a few uniques very locked behind), this scarab clutter which nobody can sell effectively without using 3rd party tools as it seems there are 100 different ones of which I have 87 or so...

In my view, the game was a lot better two+ leagues ago.

There are definitively some good ideas in the patch, but the result of the patch I totally dislike. My impression is, there were problems which should be fixed but now these problems appear to be lesser an issue than the fix itself (The good player should exceed the earnings of an average/OK player, but not by a factor of 100 or more even after factoring out idle time - last league the OK player at least could do sextant rolling to finance their char). Some ideas I do not get at all. For example, how does Call to Arms Support fit with the melee orientation of warcries in your game and why shall almost every class now be able to use one on instant auto loop (which does not stop in hideout so it annoys you maximally) while melee classes still fiddle around with their melee totems before they will realise their useful Call to Arms keystone has been replaced with some complete nonsense (aurabots for teh win) in their area of the tree? If I play melee, I would like to have Enduring Cry or Ancestral Cry as instant skill which I can use, when it appears useful, not when it is ready to be used. This option is gone, but playing melee is also not necessarily tempting given the new T17 content anyways...

I wish you were going three steps back for next league and bring only a small update or an old league back but with focus on healthy economy and skill balance changes in an older design's spirit (and tested properly - the majority of the new content simply feels not tested at all, e. g. the Necropolis crafting could have been more nice, but not with this interface and the annoying long speech of this undertaker dude whenever one creates an item. This second divination card scarab was basically designed to be a broken multiplier to the right abuse scenario. This should have been reported quickly during testing).

And: Essence Drain needs something more than a weird transfigured version which kills you rather than healing you while still not doing enough damage to compete... Please do something for Essence Drain / Contagion.

Totally agree about "the game was a lot better two+ leagues ago". I dont worry about "economy" too much if its not dead since i try to craft most of my gear by myself even on trade league , but ... Im seriously missing a lot of things which was before. Like poison sparks, vortex autobomber, BV helmet duration enchant, ice spear helmet enchant and many others.

Why this things were killed or removed without alternative - i cant understand.
The scarabs were a change I greatly dislike. They took a fairly elegant system and made it very cluttered and complicated in terms of items. It was a mistake in my opinion.

The attempt was to simplify the mechanics on some level, and they achieved the opposite.

I also really dislike losing the syndicate crafts and labby enchants. Not for the power, (other than the helms, it was all a negligible power boost), but for the loss of the ability to teak and customize my gear.

I really enjoyed making elemental themed characters with matching boot/glove/belt enchants, and then tweaking the gear quality and sockets. It was something neat I could work to, and it made me like Jun and Syndicate and the labby because of how I could modify my equipment.

Now, I've lost the ability to make all these customizations to my gear absent the very destructive process of corruption in some cases, or en-total.

This is taking away my ability to make these characters uniquely "mine" - resulting in a loss of player agency and a reduction of personal attachment. Why would I buy MTX for a character that I'm not monkeying with like a classic car in my garage?

The helm enchants I can at least understand due to the power behind them and the difficulty in getting the right one for a build. Yanking everything else mystifies me. They were just spiffy little add-ons.

Yes, I'm the guy who actually customized his Diablo 2 gear with a name.

All they had to do was delete sextants and add the most used passives to the tree. I don't know why we needed things ripped off the tree and put onto a scarab.
Im with you, i loved the 100+ new transgems and the meta shakeup bust aside from the the last leagues themselves were pretty unenjoyable for me and i dont like the direction poe is currently heading.

I much prefer "quin gameplay" over "empy gameplay"
I agree, they dont even care about game anymore. One scarab worth more then T0 item headhunter is 20 divine atm, divination scarab 39 divine lol
Worst league and worst management
They added too many clicks and hussle with those scarabs.

Daylies were much better.

My gripe with the scarabs is that a lot of them are just valueless and I'd never use them and nobody wants to buy them so they just become vendor trash to try and reroll it to a scarab that's worth anything.
