" Thanks but I didn't ask for build advice. I homebrew all my builds. Some are more effective than others. This league I built a pretty awful build. I'm planning on re-rolling soon as while I could with proper gear eventually reach 8 mil DPS, I'm just not really achieving anything with the build as is. If you look at my other characters, you could see that I've built builds that are significantly better before. My feedback is after having tested T17's on my standard characters, not my present league character, who isn't even doing T12 maps well despite the 10 div investment. My feedback should not be considered based on the lens of my crappy character. EDIT: I also think I should mention I have instant leech and nearly 9K ES. I'm functionally immortal in even T16 maps, I just don't have the DPS to make it fun to play. Guy doesn't even get how my build works, suggesting life rolls when I'm obviously using The Ivory Tower... A scion may be born of the rich, and as such hold more opportunity... but a scion will never be able to appreciate the finer beauty of those less fortunate. Well, considering that the feedback is pertaining to pinnacle content, like T17 and Uber bosses, there is potential merit to expressing that a persons character/gear isn't "good enough" to have valid critique on the balancing of that content.
I'd be far less likely to take the advice of someone on how to build a good Character in Borderlands 2 for OP10 if they'd never beaten True Vault Hunter, for example. While people oft just attack the skill of those with negative critiques, I am willing to devils advocate that he might have genuinely thought I was trying to run that Character through T17 maps, and then complaining when it obviously didn't work. A scion may be born of the rich, and as such hold more opportunity...

" No they dont have merit, no need to play devil advocate The issue is that T17 is literally only acessible to the top 1% of builds, i would invite anyone calling skill issue to show me a video completing a T17 with a average flicker strike or icestorm build Gating a voidstone behind uber elder is already questionable design for similar reasons, but doable as power creep sort of fixed the issue, still tons of people that just pay for it Its even worse with T17, those maps are plain impossible for the majority of the builds out there. Uber bosses were supposed to be OPTIONAL, ASPIRATIONAL content, they straight up said so in the video of their introduction(and in many ways, T17 maps are HARDER than the average uber encounter, you cant complete a T17 with a heavily bossing-focused character with defenses tailored to the boss fight). OP might be wearing all bad uniqs and whatnot, but even a decently geared character on a build capable of farming the core of the game confortably cant complete those maps Calling "your build is not good enough" in this situation is the equivalent of telling seriously "just pick a top tier" in a fighting game or a moba, its eye-rolling |

Expect it to be worse next league with new items gate kept as well. This game is clearly being tuned for Standard as they expect it to die.
PoE 1 is the best. PoE 2 is something.

Watch streamers, player better, problem solved. Hard content is not supposed to be finished by the "average joe".
