Because many more new ones were added.
Almost all farming strategies have been eliminated from the game and new ones only exist because of allflames. GGG has some work to do for next league to even things out. Without allflame strategies map farming variety would be in the worst state it's ever been in.

I'll give you some examples of new ones without allflames:

- Domination for gem exp.
- Domination boss rushing for 15+ rare scarabs and 5+ guardian maps per map.
- Rare monster modifier legions.
- Alva magic pack size stacking.
- Itemised Alva temples per map.
- Harvest's T4 seed spam with magic packsize.
- 10+ inscribed ultimatums per map.

There are more than 30+ new viable strategies.

Still not my point.

Could you try and read my entire first post before commenting on some of it...

Rewording it then.

PoE changes and does lots of new things for the sake of doing new things. It does not matter that old stuff works. They're trying to keep the game fresh.

They don't want you to run the exact same build with the exact same atlas strategy for 10 leagues in a row.

Atlas passive tree, im not sure i follow the changes.
The hyper focus on scarabs hurts every single casual pleb that prefers "alch N go".
Its harder than it has been in a long time to sustain maps, since the 0.5% chance to duplicate nodes are gone. I like that scarabs is a thing, but it seems like you HAVE to play with scarabs, otherwise youre getting majorly punished.

Wandering path and similar mechanics are gone. I dont see why they were removed, it seemed like alot of players were quite satisfied with the different ways you could play the game / maps.

Game being hard(er)

I dont mind the game being harder, but it might be to much..the forced necropolis on every single map makes even white monster potential "one shot beasts".
I have seen so so so many ppl ask questions about why the game suddenly got so tough.
It "forces" alot of ppl to play certain meta builds, bc a bunch of skill simply cant handle red tier maps / end game.

I would love it if GGG could implement a thread on the home page, like the WHAT WE ARE WORKING ON

where you adress some of the concerns, since alot of the poe players might be concerned.

Seems as if you keep shifting "your point."

They were counterpointed with rebuttal that you reject for no clear reason.

There is no hyperfocus on it. Scarabs literally fit the same role as sextants did.

Juice X content. Usually end game related.

This is a massive skill/knowledge issue im afraid. Especially if you are playing trade.

In a "long time" whatever that means. Seems like someone didn't play without kirac missions or reports. Or doesn't know about them currently at all.

Apply this same reasoning to the new stuff that is added. Have your answer as to why.

Active learning.

So ... you do mind it then. You dont say you dont mind it being harder but then in the same sentence saying it's too much.

Seems like you just default to saying this when someone tries to address your points. Especially true when they directly answer what you say,

example:

why force ppl to play with scarabs.

I play with zero scarabs mind you and I do fine lmao why do some of you insist on YOU NEED X YOU NEED Y

Very inconsistent, just kind of yammering on from what I can tell.

So I would have to agree with what this poster has to say about all of this.

The inital thread and your responses are a perfect example of what Mark was talking about in his interview of what Feedback will NOT be listened to.

Good luck!
