Collecting corpses with message boxes blocking items to be picked up

The message box that pops up when a corpse is dropped is displayed at the top of the screen (can't be turned off) causing the item to be picked up to be blocked by this message box!

In order to pick up an item or equipment, you must collect corpses, however, there is a limit to the number of corpses you can have, so you need to enter the cemetery and consume the corpses in order to return to the screen to pick up the item......Seriously affects the gaming experience!

Agreeing on the Pop-Up blocking loot being bad but... you can use the "Itemise" button on the popup (lower left, IIRC) which turns the corpse into a coffin in your inventory (and then drop the coffin ?).
Still a hassle but you don't have to switch instances.
