Vaal area background sound effect - always on?

HI Dev team,

this is very odd: Whenever i leave a vaal special area (by portal, by zone entry/exit), the background sound effects, or the "vaal music" (deep humming / wind like noises) never stops but continues to be played in all other zones.

It overdubs everything else, and while i can still hear the other area songs or background and also game sound effects, the vaal humming just sits on top of everything else.

The only way to stop this is to restart the game.

I can very reliably reproduce this (in every vaal area.. i dont like them anymore)


- msi b450 tomahawk
- motu m4 soundcard
- AMD Ryzen 3 3200G with Radeon Vega Graphics 3.60 GHz
- 16 G RAM

Would be great if you found a fix.
