Endgame atlas / juicing strategies narrowed down
From 3.17 until 3.23 you were given enough resources to max out 2 major league mechanics, maybe add 1 minor one to that mix (such as harbinger or ambush). So you could mix and match them in various combinations, use different sextant modifiers as you had access to 4 of them on top of 4 scarabs.
In 3.24 it seems like the only valid strategy is to run ONE league mechanic. You max out points in its clusters, in Necropolis clusters (since you get Necropolis each map anyway) and use the rest on quantity and scarab drop rate. Scarabs themselves you stack them all from just ONE league mechanic. For example harbinger you use 2 scarabs that add more harbingers, 1 scarab that ups the currency rarity and 1 that upgrades harbingers to royal harbingers. If I want to run the farm with the old method I'm bleeding profits away due to not being optimal and "fully juiced". Thing is, POE endgame is designed around synergizing mechanics together instead of focusing on just one. Right now it feels off and disjointed. Sextants were annoying - it was too much micro and trading for them efficiently required this stupid discord server. But the replacement scarab system isn't perfect. Map device would need like 8-9 slots to match 3.17-3.23 juicing flexibility. Last edited by Esubane#6099 on Apr 4, 2024, 7:32:59 AM Last bumped on Apr 4, 2024, 7:31:23 AM
