40h of Tornado of elemental turbulence feedback

I have been league starting with tornado of elemental turbulence and been enjoying quite a lot. Definitely a favorite of mine for its gameplay but I did encounter some situation where the skill felt wonky or awkward to play at times. To give some background to my progression, I completed all regular atlas map bonus from white to red and currently farming guardians/currency.

First the clunky, I realized that each of the tornado targeting is based on the closed enemy of myself and not of the tornado. While it make sense when you have a single tornado acting as a support like the base skill, for turbulence it lead me to many situation where one of my tornado suddenly change direction and do nothing.

Think a bit of that good old Alva bug and how you could proc her dialogue when 2 of her portal were close to each other. It is a bit the same that can happen here when you are surrounded by enemies like in a breach. I seen my tornado run in circle and do nothing as I was trying to cast tornado left and right to cover more than 1 front.

An easy fix to this in my opinion would be to change their target priority from closest of my character to closest of that active tornado.


Now the awkward, now imagine yourself in a prison, you cast a gust of wind and that gust of wind is stopped by a metal bar prison door. On the other side of that door, skeleton archers shooting at you with their bow and arrows through the same door that stopped wind. I heard Marc recently say that thing should feel realistic. Shouldn't a tornado be able to pass through leap/dash-able obstacle? At least, when I see wind I don't expect it to be stopped by a prison cell door/wall.

Lastly, I understand I made my tornado THICC, but I don't think they should be blocked by every doorways of the crimson temple. This happen in many other maps where the area is a small path without being an actual door.

This is my feedback on tornado of elemental turbulence. If you could tweak those 3 part of the skills it would feel great! Still will keep playing with it as I love the sharksnado even with the visibility decrease.

TLDR

Make tornado target the closest enemy of the tornado.
Allow tornado to pass through leap/dash-able obstacle.
Allow THICCnado to go through crimson temple doorways.
