Aus ping to singapore better than halved overnight?

I've been playing with ~320 latency to the singapore server from perth since OB. With plenty of spikes and occasional disconnections. I log in today to find it varying from 80-130 and reasonably stable.
What happened? did the cable get fixed? Happy days! Playing Hardcore is like spending your life savings on a supercar and then driving it around uninsured just for the thrill of possibly crashing it.

no more terrible US server The rest of the 'end-game' content will be available along with a heap of new stuff when the game launches in a few months time. From what I've seen it's going to be awesome. - Michael_GGG
