Removing Daily Master Missions

One thing about this change puzzles me.

With the daily master missions, even if I'm not playing PoE, I'd log into the game every night, to collect my free missions. In doing this I'd see sales and new announcements.

This lead to me buying a lot of Tab Sales and MTX.

Now, if I'm not going to dedicate a night to PoE, I don't log in anymore. I won't be seeing cool sales or announcements.

This is costing you money.

Did you think you needed to log in to get master missions??? HAHAHAHA they build up passively bro lmao
Yeah, at times I only log in to do my dailies.

But if GGG don't even want me to do that much, that's fine by me.

You would get a free one daily on login. They added up nicely for when you wanted to do a crafting or Niko binge. Often times I'd run a quick league to maps just so I could double dip.

I don't speed run maps, so the missions gained there for me are very negligible. I like to take my time, identify the items, it's not uncommon for me to spend 30 min in a single map collecting goodies.

You did NOT get anything for logging in. They build up every day, login or not. You were logging in for no reason lmao.

this is incorrect.
you would get 1 master mission for completing the relevant tier of map per 24 hours.
So to get 1 white, yellow or red, you would need to complete 1 map of each.

You did not get anything passively, regardless of being logged in or not.
Day after day I would log in, see 2 Kirac missions, run them, and quit without running any maps. Exactly at midnight, I'd get another 2 missions.

I guess I must have dreamed all that then.
You had to log in every day to get the free missions.

I would often times run a league to maps, run a red map, then just log in eah day onto a league character and into a standard character to get the free daily missions.

If you didn't log in, you didn't get the free mission.

I assume this was done to boost player count for the stats and to keep your eyeballs on sales/notices.

I had accumulated thousands of Alva missions over the years. (As I never ran her).

You must log into your account to receive these missions. These missions are accumulated and tracked on the right side of the Atlas panel. More Missions can be earned by completing maps. Each time you complete a map (typically by killing the map boss), you'll have a chance to earn an Atlas Mission.

You had to log on folks.

Atlas Mission Changes
The way daily Atlas Missions are handled has been reworked.
Once you have unlocked the Atlas, you will now earn one Atlas Missions for each Master per day. These are not assigned to a specific map, but are assigned to a specific map tier-colour (white, yellow or red). You must log into your account to receive these missions.
These missions are accumulated and tracked on the right side of the Atlas panel.
More Missions can be earned by completing maps. Each time you complete a map (typically by killing the map boss), you'll have a chance to earn an Atlas Mission. The chance to earn Missions this way has been significantly raised.
You'll encounter random Masters in maps less frequently, with this chance moved to the map-completion mechanic.
To use accumulated Atlas Missions, simply talk to the associated Master in your Hideout, select the Atlas Mission option, and place the map you wish to do the mission on in the Map Device screen that opens up. You can add a Zana map modifier from this screen if you wish.
There's no limit to the number of Atlas Missions that can accumulate, so there's no pressure to run the missions as you get them. Run them at your own pace!
Your Atlas Missions are now tracked on the quest tracker as soon as you enter the map.

I'm glad you can tailor things - after all... why would I want to run syndicate now that I can't craft with it? That was the only value I saw in it.

If I never see Jun again that will be just fine.

I'm simply pointing out they removed an incentive that kept people logging in even if they were not seriously playing the game. Taking eyeballs off the sales/announcements screens.

The removal of so many systems for customizing gear was also a mistake I feel. But that was a different topic I made.
