Stash Tabs Max Limit?

Just curious, what is the max number of stash-tabs? I'm curious since I just got back into the game, and wanted to just max it out with premium tabs/quads on the next sale.

well not exactly, at the moment i have like 9000 remove only tabs in non league, the game stopped functioning properly at around 5000 tabs, and it kept getting worse and worse, as is now, every time you put something in a stash game windows blacks out for 20s , as well as giving masive latency spikes when trying to deposit stuff into stash

" At the end of a season, all tabs with items go into standard as a remove only tab. I feel like 90% of players just leave them and don't play much standard or something, so they never bother to remove the items. Once the items are removed the tabs self delete after a few mins. |

Newbie question: How do you get all of these tabs? Are you buying all these tabs when a new league starts, and then again for every new league? Seems like that would cost a lot of cash!
