Scarabs Need Higher Drop Rates

Like half the scarabs are already at least 10c each, probably even more in bulk. Some farms are basically inaccessible to SSF players because of how rare the scarabs are.

If people want exclusive and absurdly expensive farms then add more horned scarabs that are really powerful. Dont gate atlas content behind ridiculous investment.

ive seen the opposite happen, scarabs rain way more than in previous leagues. Though it's mostly the common varieties. Rare scarabs are well...rare.
It is weird to bring scarab price to SSF argument. Game is not and will not be balanced around SSF. Some scarabs should be rare.

I'm literally dropping scarabs faster than it's possible to use them, averaging 5 per map plus all the ones I'm getting in delve.

What is this thread?

It would feel a lot better if they would reduce scarab droprate by at least 50%. I get like 10 per map. This is nuts.

Scarabs are in a bad spot. When you look at scarabs in total, you drop tons of them. Issue is the drop pool is so diluted with how many there are now.

At least with sextants, trade leagues had an abundance of supply day 2/3. They were absolutely a pain to deal with, but at least the market was there for those that wanted to participate. Right now, scarabs in any meaningful amount are either non-existent or unreasonably priced (even the rusted ones). They just moved the problem from sextants being unfun to deal with to scarabs being unfun to deal with. Ironically this did exactly what Mark said he didn't want, to kill endgame juicing. Most are just doing alc and go.

Juicing content is basically dead outside of party play with dedicated traders that will make those 1-3 scarab trades. I have no interest in trading with 5-10 people to run 15-20 maps.

Buff the supply

bro, it's week one of the league. 99% of players are doing alch and go because they are, surprise surprise, progressing their atlases or still didn't even get past the acts. Playing some scuffed 300k DPS 18k EHP builds that can barely clear a red alched map, and you are speaking about heavy juicing lol.

POE is a hardcore and sweaty game but please don't expect your average player to have sunk 60 hours in the 100 hours that elapsed since this league even opened up.

Scarabs are the least of this patch and league's problems. Really, they are abundant and in 2-3 weeks you'll see generous stocks to buy.

We need to fix the grave crafting, lantern rippy mods and other undocumented crap that slipped through such as non-existent tier 8 essences that are being sucked up by tft pricefixers and sold at 1 divine each. Cos they are so rare for some odd reason.

I agree with all your points, but would you consider it a nonissue? If the 1% are time gated on progression or content they want to do, what keeps them playing? That 1% is pretty important, they are the one's coming back league after league putting hundreds of hours in every 3-4 months.
