I feel like PoE is going in a wrong direction with these changes...

I'm not gonna make a long post where I complain and cry about what I dislike, it was obvious after affliction that the next league will be way toned down and much worse in terms of fun and fulfillment, but removing sextants and changing scarabs this way is by no means a good change; i honestly expected this league for us to be able to stack sextants and scarabs up to a higher number, so once you buy all your stuff, you could do 50-100 maps at a time without resupply-ing in terms of utilities from your stash, aside from putting a new map; but that aside, I'm seeing 2 problems with these changes. We're getting way less content in our maps, there aren't ways of getting for example 5 legions and 5 abysses as you could prior to this league, and even if you'd make the argument that "oh but u're doing 2 legions and u're getting as much loot as if you'd do 5", which by the way is not the case, i'd still hate this way because u'd get more downtime, u'd go through more loading screens and more of the stuff that personally annoys me(affli did it best where you'd have maps that would last 15-20 minutes). Then there's the scarcity issue where a scarab is a one time use, compared to the sextants that had 4 uses, and not only that, you can use multiple scarabs of the same meaning you'd have to do more trades for fewer maps, to focus on One, and this is the catch, on One single mechanic in your maps, compared to the scarabs that would allow you to have 4 different things in your maps; it just doesn't make sense, with all of these arpg's on the market poe should strive to become better since there's more competition, but all i'm seeing is it going in a direction maybe more aimed at casuals, and people that would enjoy games like d4.
A thing that could improve this league and a change I hope they're gonna make is so that if you want to use 4 scarabs of the same type, said scarabs to only use 1 space in your map device, that way I could see myself enjoy this league a bit more.
