Dear GGG, please, pay atention to CPU latency spikes that leads to stutters/freezes!

Dear GGG, begging you to pay attention to very old problem with Engine Multithreading in Path of Exile. CPU latency spikes provides stutters and even freezes, that makes game unplayable! The only reason im still playing PoE is that i can make game to run smooth relaunching it for 3-20 times.

My PC: Intel Xeon E5 2667 V2 8 cores, 16 threads - 3.6 GHz; GTX 1070; 32GB RAM (1886MHz, CL12); SSD 128GB (PoE installed on SSD). I also saw similar posts from people with much stornger PC's.

So, which options i've tried, that makes no affect: C0-state forcing, any NVIDIA control pannel option, GPU affinity utility, MSI mode and high interrupt (IRQ) priority, disablig HyperThreading / any threads in taskmanager, deletind %user%/appdata/Path of Exile and Documents/My games/Path of exile folders, disabling GameBar (in Windows Parameteres and registry), updating NVIDIA and other drivers.

Options, that makes at least some differences: setting Low latency mode to Enabled/Ultra in NVIDIA control pannel feels like help get "smooth launch" sooner.

Also in this patch appeared problem VK ERROR DEVICE LOST, that crushes my game on Vulkan within 5 minutes, which makes Vulkan unplayable because i need to relaunch game many times to get "smooth launch"!

Whats interesting, i cant get "smooth launch" of game on DIrextX 12, so i need to get one on Vulkan and switch to DX12 (thanksuly, game dosent requires to restart on swithing Vulkan -> DX12, unlike viceverca).

Because of people with MUCH better and newer systems report same problems, and disabling multithreading fixing all problems, its obviously, that this is not hardware problem, but at least multithreading trouble, maybe any other part of game. And yes, buying new PC just to test if PoE would work better is not an option.

Bumping this as well.

MY PC is more on the potato end at this point, but disabling the multithreading does work on that as well, completely removes the freeze/stutter caused by this issue.
I do get the side effect that some busier content is a bit too much for a single core on my system.
Bump as well, happens most leagues.
I have an AMD system but have tried all the suggested things as well as power option profiles that work for an hour or so then total lockup and/or unexpected disconnection happen all the time no matter what server I try.
I view the in-game system info with F1 and the CPU MS sits at 20MS on the login screen, in-game it can sit as low as 9MS but jumps all over, when it hits 6MS that's when I get kicked.
I have swapped servers from Aust. ping 20ish to Asia ping 170ish US 220ish, all have the same problem.
Ok today I'm trying to do Kaom's Dream but after getting DCed 5 times picking Auto select server and changing the power option profiles, I'm done for an hour or two.

Ever since they introduced POE2 stuff to the POE1 vulcan has been crashing for me none-stop

DX12 holds but Vulcan always ran better on my system.
This has been going on for several leagues and they have yet to respond.

The Multithreading fix does solve it but your performance tanks to nothing ofcourse. I don't think they will fix it and honestly it makes me worried that whatever tech they are using in poe2 might have simulair issues.
same problem on e5-2650 v2 I think this is a problem with all older multi-threaded processors. Disabling C0 states helps 100% in my case, but I am not happy that my processor starts working at 100% load all the time and consumes maximum energy. You have to restart the game many times to achieve a not ideal but more or less stable frame time. Previously, I ran another game in the background that slightly loaded all the cores, so this allowed me to reduce the number of launches for a stable frame rate in the game. To be honest, I don’t think that GGG can fix this because this problem has been around for several years
Everything is working fine, you must do something wrong like playing the game.

same problem since ancestor league, ass well i try to do all things nothing helps .
I got same issue with POE1. And now with POE2. But it is even worse. I love this game, buy 30$ for early access, wait to play but now i can not even play. Game is laggy even with force C0 state. Game show 60 fps but it is still can not playable.

My PC is z420 workstation, chip E5 2689 , carg RTX3060. i think i must buy the whole new PC to play this game . LOL.
