Evertree Map Device not showing number of maps

I just got the Verdant Evertree Map Device and Night Lotus Evertree Map Device.

Neither of them is keeping count of the maps I completed, or at least shows it :)
It does not matter if variant 1 or 2 is used. The button (as shown in the anouncement) to show the number of maps completed is not displayed on the tree or anywhere else on the UI.

Same issue here. I tried it in different Hideout.
It appeared once after some manipulation but disappeared again and does not show anymore.
