Insane Latency Spikes and Game Crashes

Happy to announce that the constant instance issue that was already making 3.23 unplayable is back!
Join an instance, roll a dice that and if you get unlucky, you end up with 20k+ ms ping then back to login screen. Since it wasnt acknowledged in 3.23 by GGG, I guess there is no hope this will be acknowledge now, let alone fixed. I managed to get to tidal island, grab the quest and when going back to the coast, already got disconnected... Yes, I'm getting the same problem after patch 3.24 sadly, they need to address this for users experiencing these random lag spikes.

How is this still a thing 2 leagues later? I've been unable to play for 3 leagues now because there seems to be some communication issues in game. Every minute or so, my latency jumps to 2k. Cant play HC like this and I want to play HC this league..... FIX PLEASE WHEN

this is a problem with dx11/12 since 3.19 and there are a ton of posts regarding this. GGG Knows it but does not do much baout it.
I was able to fix this with vulkan bit vulkan is bugged atm that gives you an error and shuts the game down. each league there is a new problem with shaders or something. they should delay poe 2 a bit more and fix poe 1 asap but hey thats just my opinion | |

Just died to Gravicius, went to Standard, still having 2-3k ping even after theres nothing on screen to cause the shaders or ping to increase. Love to see it. Unplayable AGAIN

Not crashing but getting huge spikes in ping. Every 10 minutes or so it calms down, only to repeat a few minutes later. Strangely enough a packet loss test on my connection shows some packet loss too (which usually manifests itself as stuttering in the game). Not sure what's going on.

It's unplayable for me. Died several times because of latency spikes even before getting to Prison. Tried connecting to servers in differnt regions, reinstalled the game, tested with a VPN, but none of it helped at all. Can't go morem than a couple minutes without the latency spikes, that gets into 20000+ and freezes for several seconds. Not sure if WINMTR logs are still useful, but I'm pasting mine here:
