Mac Sonoma Perf drop when entering combat

Hi, I've had issues before playing poe with DPS drops when entering heavy content interaction (end-game massive pack size + content etc.), but never like this.
My FPS is first of all not great when not in combat, but playable.
When I enter any combat - even a story area with a small pack of white mob that I oneshot, my FPS drop like crazy.
I don't know if it's related to the lastest patch, or to the Sonoma update - did both in the same time.
Window or full screen the same.

Would love to avoid downloading a full new version of the game since my internet is not great and it would take very long.

Any help would be welcome... I tried deleting cache, .dat files, all settings to low...

if u use google i can find this update is not ok for mac , second ssd,3 if u have options change to windows i see so many ppl using mac have problems ,

I have the same issue on mac m1 max with sonoma. Was working fine before the update.
