HOLY SHIT ATLAS IMPROVEMENTS SUPER GOOD

1. YOU CHOOSE WHAT CONTENT YOU WANT
- fucking hell, i ve been asking for this for so many fucking years! legacy stones evolved into scarabs and now this? dammit! gonna enjoy the content i want every map all the time!

2. SO MUCH PLAYER CHOICE/TAILORING
- dont like the feeling of spending scarabs? you dont need to. want scarabs? heres how you can get more! dont want extra content? ALSO DOABLE. WTF best atlas "rework" in a long while.

3. ATLAS PRESETS
- originally i thought GGG was gonna be anal about it as having them reduced the need for orb of unmaking. i was actually one of the persons that advocated that we only have one shared tree to prevent the need for players to roll different characters to run content using different trees. GGG went ahead and just let us have 3 presets? I definitely am not complaining about this.

4. FULL VALUE OF ATLAS PASSIVE NODES
- i've always hated speccing into league specific/extra content atlas passives because they only trigger when the content appears in the map. if your specific content that you liked only has a 30% chance to occur, you lose a lot of "atlas passive value" which could have been dumped into different things that occur every map. with the ability to trigger everything 100% reliably, without the need of scarabs etc, the atlas nodes for specific content become VERY VALUABLE.

to be honest i actually wanted to post stuff like "another slap to standard" due to losing "master dailies" i have over a thousand saved up on STD which i decided to save up to do later. even if i lose them now, i dont actually lose anything significant as i'll still be fully speccing into the relevant masters to run them so i technically will have 100% chance of running them each map either way.

also i was almost outraged by the sextants changed. i thought they were going to be poofed but

THIS is the sort of shit that shows consideration for standard!

the only thing that i personally dislike about the entire patchnotes is this:

Existing Maven Invitations, excluding Quest versions, will be deleted upon logging in.

there is a possibility that players will be impacted economically tho as with making things more accessible, prices may go down. such as harvest life force. stuff like screaming invites may go down too, since players cant run the uber versions of them anymore using em.

ironically i asked for this exact change in this forum tho i cant remember when as its been sometime ago. monkey paw eh?

that said overall this is the best patch notes i've seen in a long while.

theres a high chance i ll be skipping the league but theres a very high chance i'll be in standard.
