Holy Paladin

ok i have had a chance to test out some of the builds i posted before now that i have beta access.

and so far this new one is the one i like best... im not level 70 yet but would like to get any feed back from you guys about the build.... so far the only down side is auras use too much of my mana pool.

so any way here is my lvl 70 Paladin build
We can't solve problems we can't talk about...
3 quick things:
1 reduced aura/mana costs is USELESS unless you are a caster, trust me; there are reduced mana costs support gems, those perks are not worth a skillpoint.
2 If you badly want to use totem I dont suggest to take all of 2 groups of the totem support perks, but only the one with the +1 totem, like I did in my build.
3 this could sound strange, but... HOW DO YOU ACTUALLY PLAN TO DO DAMAGE WITHOUT PPASSIVE PERKS IN SOME DAMAGE/ELEMENTAL DAMAGE/STUFF???

I've done a build for you with in mind the image of a holy paladin;

A man who fights with a sword and a shield, heavy armor, strong body, who can call a magical force wich can help all his allies(totems), and being deadly in close combat, while being complete pure(purity of essence is just a "poetic/romantic perk" in this bild).
We can call it "the 'pure paladin' build"

lol you took the same route for your skills near the Marauder i took for my Marauder Pally test build.

i was actually going more for the increased aura distance... the distance of the auras with out all three boots is kinda pathetic.

yah damage is one thing im lacking on this build tho... but i helped a guildie and a few random newbies threw the first act and they rocked it... they were only lvl 6 at the end of the act tho. >.<

but any way they had 700DPS with all my buffs up at level 4. :D
and as long as the healing totem was up they couldn't be killed >.<

yes, but the auras are ment to be "small"...
and if you protect them like that they will never learn how powerful they gotta be to go on by themselfs

i was mostly just teaching him about the game and letting other players join the party... and the point of this char is to be a support char so need the largest aura size i can get.

you cant be a support if you can't mind of your own, and you need to go level too... idt if this game has "support" classes... everybody just contribute with theyr skills... there is no healer class for a reason
i made my Templar a healing class :D

i can now lay down 2 healing totems at a time so contiguous life regen from them even when one dies/times out and i have the healing aura gem :D

but i dont think on your own you can do something.. but f you really like to help, then i guess it's ok!
And since you want to do this "full support"... here maybe a better build:

You must wonder why this build;
We are stacking mostly STR, so you will have alot for HP then MP, and you will focus on the support totems and auras, like determination and go on, plus you will be full of endurance charge; so you will full of hp and pdef, you can spend the hp on the totems while regenerating yourself, and without mana you can have 5 HP flask wich should help"and with blood magic the paladin truly sacrifice himself for the allies!)
You have so no mana problems, defense, hp and endurance charges wich makes you even more tanky, and encurance cry let you protect your allies while you endurance yourself, totem nodes, aura nodes.. everything is taken! This should be good.
I took the +30 intelligence nodes ebcause you maybe will need a little help in INT since you stack STR and maybe some skill you need is INT bases. I suggest to use shield+mace/sceptre+heavy armor(you wont use shield and you need HP so stack armor and use armors not energy shield chain mails).
What do you think?
for some reason the icons on the site aren't showing so i didn't get a real good look... but hovering over a few of the icons real quick it looks this could be a pretty good build. (tried in chrome and firefox)

i just realized that the stat return points i have been getting from quests might reset my hole stat tree... if so then im going to try a few different builds i have thought up also... but i think ill probably stick to some thing like you have shown now. (ill post if the return points return 1 or all stats)
