Crits not igniting again?
I'm playing Blade Blast of Unloading (very fun as saboteur with trigger bots!)
Maybe it's like in the spring of 2023 when they had a bug from the introduction of the "crits do not inherently ignite" mastery? I've added fire damage to the skill and it's not igniting when i crit. (50k cold dmg and 600 avg fire dmg per hit). 65% crit at the moment and shocks and chills/freezes are happening but no ignites. Here is the character if it helps. https://pobb.in/E6Mi2BV93ZDF Last bumped on Mar 5, 2024, 6:51:38 PM

Help me understand what you mean "due to your low fire damage you are probably not critting with fire and thus not igniting."
I'm always dealing fire damage in every hit since it's added to all my spells. I'm critting at minimum 65% of the time. Whenever I crit I'm guaranteed "critting with fire damage included" even if it's not the highest damage type, right? |

" That's not how ignite works. Any source of flat fire is enough to cause ignite and there is no minimum threshold like chill/freeze. It is entirely possible to ignite for 1 damage, still counts for Sabo. I've done several Sabo builds where my only fire was on a single abyss jewel or ring craft to proc the burning ascendancy. The crit is on the low side for consistency, but for any boss that survives multiple hits, it should be enough to proc at least 1 ignite. My only theory atm is maybe something is bugged with Unloading and only the first hit can ignite and repeat hits can't? Easy enough to test with another spell to see if it ignites at all. Throw on a level 1 Eye of Winter or anything that hits multiple times and see if you see ignite at all without instant killing the target. If you're able to ignite with Eye of Winter, try again with a level 1 Unloading and see if you're just doing too much damage. If level 1 Unloading has the same no ignite issue, record a video and include a bug report number. |

I think I figured out the issue, ignites aren't showing up next to the chill and the shock where I thought they would--BUT the enemy is on fire visually. See screenshot. https://imgur.com/a/OdDr4MH

Ah yea, visual indicator on enemy only for ignite.
" Not seeing at all where the wiki mentions discarding for ignite thresholds. There was an issue where it was discarding ignites if the duration was under 300ms, but that was fixed and not relevant here as their ignites are default 4 seconds. Tinctures cannot apply to spells. As OP just proved in the screenshot, it is possible to ignite with just the ring craft for fire damage. There is no ignite threshold, it just requires a baseline at least 1 fire damage, chance to ignite (or crit), and an enemy that isn't avoiding ailments or immune to fire. |

" This is straight up incorrect information. Any amount of fire damage and a crit will ignite. It doesnt work like shock or chill with threshholds. |
