Skills that consume charges + multistrike support: How does it work?

Im messing around with trying to get Tectonic Slam of Cataclysm to work and wondering how it interacts with multistrike support.

Say I have 10 Endurance charges and I attack once. The skill says it gets a 20% more damage per endurance charge consumed, so the first attack should consume 10 all 10 charges and buff the damage by 200%.

But the second and third hits that are repeated thanks to multistrike... do they also need to have charges available to "consume", or do attacks 2 and 3 still get the 200% buff without needing to consume more charges because they're "repeats" of the first attack?

I cant find the answer to this anywhere and would really appreciate if a dev could chime in here.

Thanks

ed: ignore....i'm an idiot. No idea what I was thinking

I believe....you get the other repeats for free. Flicker strike, for example, only consumes 1 frenzy charge even if it is linked to multi.

wait im confused by your edit - so you think it does or doesnt consume charges on each repeat?
I said something stupid first and deleted it. But the second line is what I really think.
Ive since tested it and found that, at least for Tectonic Strike, this isnt the case.

I attack 4 times with one click and I can see endurance charges get generated and then instantly consumed in the middle of the attack sequence.

So I concluded that each "repeat" of the initial attack, also tries to consume any charges that were generated during the sequence.
