Unable to connect to login/patching server - 2024
Dear Path of Exile Support Team,
I am writing to report an ongoing issue I'm experiencing with connecting to the Path of Exile login server. Despite trying various troubleshooting steps, I have been unable to resolve this issue. Below are the details of the problem and the steps I've taken so far: Issue: Unable to connect to the Path of Exile login server. - Affected Versions: Both standalone and Steam versions of the game. > Actions Taken: > Reinstalled the game twice. > Attempted to swap regions, but the issue persists. > Tried flushing DNS, which did not resolve the problem. > Allowed the application through the firewall, but the issue persists. > Turning off antivirus and firewall did not affect the outcome. > Reset the modem/router, but this had no effect. > ISP has confirmed that there are no issues on their end. > Attempted to use a VPN, but the issue persists. > Ensured that all drivers and software are up to date. Despite these efforts, I am still unable to connect to the Path of Exile login server. This issue is preventing me from accessing the game and enjoying the content. I would appreciate any assistance or further troubleshooting steps you can provide to help resolve this issue as soon as possible. If there are any server-side issues or known workarounds for this problem, please let me know. Thank you for your attention to this matter. What geographical area are you in, which PoE server do you connect to? 😹😹😹😹😹

go to the bottom of this thread and check the post highlighted by the GGG staff member. Basic directions on Win MTR and copying the IP results from your client.txt file are there along with instructions to send the results in an email to support@grindinggear.com for further assistance. a few questions that are fairly important when trying to diagnose this: 1: any error messages when you attempt to launch the game? 2: if you are able to launch the game, do you get a connection or security error message? 3: do you make it to where you are able to see server connection ping times?
