Voodoo doll/effigy

Im sure its not the first neither the last time this will be asked of you :

Remove those kinds of effects from the game, the design is simply asinine comparable to instant DD mechanics.


Either that or at least rework it :

1) Make it so that the voodoo doll has the same stats as the player its created from like defences, hp, resistances etc (i have spent hours upon hours and much currency building up my character, why a simple and common mechanic disregards all that?)

2) It has a maximum ammount of damage that can link/transfer for example 50% of your hp (the effect is strong on its own, letting it kill characters without counters is insane to even think about it)

3) It has a summoning time and its not instant (dd boxes wont kill us cause we know how to COUNTER it but a rare with voodoo on a dd box will, like come on)

4) It can be destroyed by the player's damage without inflicting that damage back (give us a counter play. No getting away from it isnt a counterplay when you need to kill the monster anyway)

5) A combination of the above and/or something else.


Seriously, its like going back instead of moving forward with those kinds of things.

Note that Voodoo Doll deals reflected damage so you can build against it if you really wanted to
