Account Password Security
|
Various services such as Linkedin and League of Legends have supposedly had their password databases compromised recently. Please make sure that your Path of Exile password is not the same as the password that you use for other services!
Edit: If you're interested, we store passwords securely as a salted hash. We do not store credit card information ourselves. Lead Developer. you know, if this were like Windows 7, you could just leave the login with no password whatsoever :D
And anyone trying to type it out will always get it wrong ! :D :D Unless of course, they press enter twice or something. Isn't really applicable to this... but just sayin... you exist because I allow it, and you will die because I demand it

i use different accounts for posting and (this) for playing. it's a bit tricky because for some players it matters if you're posting as a ggg supporter or not but i can live with it.
