Block not working, please help.

Hello I just did the second ascendancy, all block related and I wanted to actually try out the ignore physical damage reduction and lucky damage and found out that my character Mugueloxr never blocks even with a 30% block chance.

Is there something my chat has that prevents it to block that I am not aware of?

You need to go to your profile and un-hide your characters.

Oh sorry.
I just un hide them.

30% chance to block isn't exactly high.
There are so many hits coming that even if you block a few of them you will not notice it

Well I should be able to notice, becuase once I block, I should get the ignore phys dam and lucky damage bonus, which I don't see it kick in and I don't see any blocking animations even when 3 enemies are hitting me.

It doesnt look like you do very much phys damage so ignoring enemy phys damage reduction wont do much. And lucky damage probably isnt that noticeable either unless you are using lightning damage with insane damage variance.

Stay afk in the middle of a pack with "Thousand Teeth Temu" equipped. You can do this in campaign to make sure something dies when you block.

I just came back and had 1 min playing and this guy won't block anything. It doesn't matter that I don't have too much physical damage now, it's just really weird that the blocking is not happening, unless there's no animations now for that and the bonus is not displayed or added into any dps counter in game... Wow.

– Block animation happens only when you block a stunning hit;
– Both lucky damage and ignoring damage reduction are not displayed in-game;
– Violent Retaliation has no icon in status bar when active.

As a result, with relatively small block chance you don't know whether it's working or not at a particular moment.
