CPU spikes and stuttering related to C-States

Hi,

after the league start I suddenly had insane CPU spikes that were tied directly to insane stuttering, no matter what I do (even afk in hideout).
After finding a workaround (disabling C-States which sends my CPU fans flying through the roof due to 100% use of all cores) it worked for a while. After a patch a few days later it was fine again, with C-States enabled again. Now, after not playing for a few days and 2 new patches, the problem is back.
It doesn't matter what settings I change whatsoever, the only thing helping is this C-State disabling workaround but that puts so much strain on my CPU I'm very uncomfortable doing it all the time when playing POE.

It is very frustrating and I'd really love to play the game normally again, I have spent way too much time, effort and money into this to back out now :D
Sorry if this is a redundant thread but the only fix I found for this problem is the workaround mentioned above and that just doesn't cut it.

Specs:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 4GB
16GB DDR3 RAM
KINGSTON SA400S37240G SSD

i had the same problem i solved this for two weeks by turning off c-states
but now the game is unplayable again...utterly.
game freezes for couple of seconds. massive lagg
no solution works for me and its not my pc, if it was working no problemo for whole two weeks. wow

great game...
and you wont get any help or technical support here. waste of time

I'm using the workaround that someone suggested, to open this page in the browser: https://zaneandzoe.com/ and play PoE with the browser with this page in the background. It doesn't work for everyone, but at least for me it helped. Of course it's kinda annoying to remember about it, but what can you do, better this than nothing.

That is officially the second weirdest fix I've ever heard of. Thx for that. It's a shame no dev had anything to contribute here...

I usually play youtube videos on high quality 60 fps in background for the game to smooth out. only thing that works. disabled c states didnt do anything. Playing on standard is relatively fine and playable. but affliction league mechanic literally makes it so bad i cant tolerate it. Lets hope next league mechanic doesn't impact basic content like affliction has.

Yea i posted this fix in the other thread about this problem, you also use this https://pixelsfighting.com/ and it work the same way.
