Blade Vortex (and Transgems) not working with Trap/Mine

As the Title says, Bladevortex and more importantly Blade Vortex of the Scythe are not linking to Trap Support or any of the Mine Supports (Blast Chain, High Impact).

I couldn't find any reason they wouldn't work together. Trap/Mine enabling Supports only state to not support Channeling Spells (which none of the BV Gems are) and the BV Gems don't state to not be supportable by Mines/Traps as usually is the case if it shouldn't be linkable.

Am I missing something?

BV circles whoever casts it. If BV is casted by a totem, it goes around the totem. If BV is casted by a trap/mine, they die when triggered so there is nothing left to circle.

While that is logicly sound why it wouldn't work even if the skills would link, it still does not explain why they don't link at all without any mention anywhere.
