View other players' equipment

+1 for allowing gear/talent inspections (maybe they could be toggled off for PVP/Cut throat leagues)

inspecting gear and talents are really important when you are trying to help someone (eg making sure they are itemizing correctly)

Hmm, I don't like this idea.

From other games, I know people checked each other and either made bad comments about bad gear or even kicked from party replacing them with better geared members.

If anyone wants to know my gear, he can ask for it. I may or may not link it. Inspections like this are not helping atmosphere, gameplay, social interaction, community, nothing. I also don't like some popups with "carl1234 would like to check your gear - agree/refuse". Just an annoying feature.

Great idea

Seems like a good idea in terms of more options to players. For those who do not like the idea, I guess it (this feature) could be developed post release (to avoid removing time spent on making the game more awesome some other way). This feature could then be enable/disabled by people renting different a server from GGG.

I don't think we should allow to show build at all because it's a personal thing, it's your build and there is many other ways to share it on the forums or on youtube if you feel like it.

But like they said we should have the options to show or hide our equipment.

I was partying with someone and wanted to show the gear I have to compare and we ended up linking in the chat, it would be better to have been able too view profile or some kind of action like that to see what gear.

It would save time, and if you are looking to buy something better than your gear and the other has it, you know what you want and could link it in the trade channel etc.

Some might think it's a waste of time, but I think that it is to be considered as I am pretty sure many people want this feature to be active.

Of course it can be implemented in due time after more needed upgrades mentionned in other suggestion threads.

why do WoW ppl think this will happen, this was in diablo - nobody cares if you have bad gear. You could have the worst gear in the game and nobody will care because the +50% quantity you add to the party is worth the dead weight.

edit: there's people literally asking for a /players x option and you think people will care if your gear is bad?

I don't wanne anybody to see my gear or my skilltree.
