Frost Blades return proj not working

The projectiles from Frost Blades does not work with the returning projectiles support gem, unless the proj hits a wall behind the enemy.

It seems like the projectiles fade out without reaching their "end" so that means the return proj support can not work.

I dont know any other skill where this is the case so i guess Its a bug.

I did not test with nimis ring.

I guess you just don't have enough projectile speed.
According to poe wiki data this should not have an impact to returning since

distance = proj speed * duration

The duration modifier is mostly hidden

These two sentences contradict each other.

As far as I remember, to return frost blade projectiles you need about 140% inc proj speed.

maybe i explained wrong :D

under "return" it said that projectile will return at the end of travel distance

https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Return

so my understanding was that it does not matter how fast the projectile is

but anyway i will try to get some speed and thanks for the help - i will update

Yes, but since proj has a certain duration, it may not have time to return before it disappears. This is why increased projectile speed is needed.

(So, when the projectile is supposed to expire, it returns instead.)

EDIT : Wait, no, it seems to be more complicated than that :
"
Returning does not reset travel distance or projectile duration, thus skills with limited duration/distance, such as
Ball Lightning
or
Spark
may expire before reaching their maximum distance, leaving them unable to return unless their projectile speed or duration is increased.

So projectiles have two distinct durations ? (In addition to things like Next Hit Delay...)

EDIT2 : Is Galvanic Arrow a normal or a special case ?

EDIT3 : Or is it that, aside from special cases like Spectral Throw, a projectile is only supposed to return if it hits a wall ?!?
But then the only difference with 100% Ricochet chance is a reset Next Hit Delay (and also the extra piercing effect) ??

alright so with around 190% proj speed some do indeed return - but it seems not all.
From 10 projectiles around 4-7 return but i am not sure because they are pretty fast obviously and i dont know how to better test lol

with around 150% projspeed around 3-5 return but again, i am not sure.

anyway thanks for your answer!
