Master Surgeon on Forbidden Flesh / Flame not working

I just bought a forbidden flesh and a forbidden flame with master surgeon mastery on my deadeye and put them into my cluster jewel. but using a flask while bleeding or afflicted by corrupted blood does not remove them, as it should like in the description. i have tested it several times now, every time with the same result, that it doesn't work. what am i doing wrong..? i only die to bleed or cb. this is driving me insane.

unless i'm missing something silly that's because master surgeon doesn't do that anymore :p now its life flasks don't expire when you reach full life

oh well you are right... thanks a lot. looks like poe fandom, the first result on google and the one i consulted, is outdated. it still shows this old version
