Can we please have the additional features tied to skins in the 'Extra Effect MTX'

I just finished my 38 challenges and was really excited to use my 'Cosmic Devouring Diadem' MTX helm, which changes the color of my Energy Shield, in addition to the new purple health pool reward.
I really like the additional features that come with these skins, but being restricted to using a specific skin is really annoying. The floating feature that comes with the Voidborn Body Armor skin is the best mtx feature hands down. But were locked into using the voidborn body armor skin. I like matching my character with the Mystic Void Battery skin, which changes the color to white and a seafoam greenish. The voidborn dark body armor skin clashes with the void battery skin, and it's so annoying that I can't use another skin while still using the floating feature. If I have the Devouring Diadem equipped, I should have the option to choose either to use the skin, the energy shield ethereal effect, or both. The new Extra Effect MTX menu should house all these additional features tied to skins. We all earned or paid for these mtx. I don't think its fair for us to have to choose one.
