Update for Delve Tab to make it REALLY usefull
|
I just happened to have an idea that would make life SO much easier for everyone who wants to craft with Fossils/Resonators.
Why not update the Delve Tab this way: Fossils get "activatable", with right click for example (not in use for fossils). Then the player can use the resonator from the stack, or maybe with a new button that would automatically select the needed resonator for the amount of activated fossils. This would get rid of the need for using the limited space inventory for crafting and make the delve tab not only a storage, but enable the unique delve mechanic in a nice and easy way. Aswell as making the tab more attractive for the players that didn't buy one so far ;) A feature that lets the players set a "stop", for example for a desired mod, would aswell enable the player to spam the resonators more without the risk of "over-rolling" the wanted result (could be nice for the currency tab aswell with alterations or similar btw) Last bumped on Jan 29, 2024, 11:26:13 AM

And how would people who didnt buy this tab feel? It would make it too OP compared to just "you can store stuff here".

" WTF, you can't really mean what you just wrote there :O You think that saving time and convenience is OP? Like the sorting function of the Divination card tab? - Like the Gem tab that gives easy overview and lets you sort them by need? - Like the flask tab that gives sorting and overview options? - Like the huge storage capacity of the currency that that gives an easy overview AND makes the currency it stores usable easily? - Like the Unique tab that can store any unique there is, no matter the space needed? - Like the essence/fragment tabs that easily upgrade tiers (without going to vendor 3:1 recipe)? - Like the Delirium/Blight tabs that let you use its orbs easily and store the maps even!? - Like the map tab that stores infinite, all different, maps, sorted by Tiers/...? What can you do in the Delve tab? Store items and not even use them properly... I can't stress enough how factually wrong you are and can't understand why saving time and reducing possibilities for errors can in ANY way be OP... |

hoho have to agree with Aynix here.
The map tab isnt infinite btw same with blight and deli. the unique tab holds one of each unique. delve tab does what it should holds fossils/resonators and even lets you craft a item in it with the a extra resonator slot. And the option to sell fossils/resonators from it. -Official Forum Dweller- -I started the hoho comment- -Exploit Early - Exploit Often- -(Async Trade Announcement) Enjoy the bots- Last edited by xPiranha#4678 on Jan 16, 2024, 5:28:53 PM

" Whas next? You type mod you want and the game rolls item, using ur fossils, untill it hits it? Maybe pet that loots items for you, since it "only saves time"? Just stop. No one gonna agree with your bs. Want to make the game more P2W? This is not the place. Last edited by Aynix#7757 on Jan 16, 2024, 6:58:55 PM

I don't mind your crafting suggestion, but setting a "stop" would be a bit much IMO.

I can not by any means understand your P2W arguments.
Accepting your argumentation makes ANY tab P2W, you can store and do whatever to sell. Actually you HAVE to buy atleast one tab to be able to get "paid". So you are saying everyone selling items is abusing P2W? Congrats you played yourself. If you are so much against convenience or P2W, why not remove folder options, affinities, searching in tabs, sorting items and extra stash tabs as a whole, go play with your few free starting tabs... An option for it not to be P2W (which I can not see where the "winning" part is) could be to make resonators and fossils able to be used as stacks, probably standard 10. Putting 10 fossils in a stack of 10 resonators with one click. This feature can be made accessible for general use without any tab. I for my part prefer people to have to pay atleast a bit for being able to play since that could get rid of some of those accounts that get banned over and over for making new accounts for free, well knowing they disobey GGG policies (example TFT). I am pretty sure that only people that already use scripts/bots or want to gain monetary benefits in this game could possibly be against features like this. " Yes, because they are. However the "level of P2W" between tabs we have and tabs you propose is like day and night. Also you dont need premium tab for selling items. How do you think we were selling items before premium tabs were a thing? There are 3rd party tools that allow it. |
|
" I remember people back then even being against premium tabs xD That was so cold blooded stupid back then too. But atleast most people accepted them as being far superior in many ways compared to the tools. There were many changes to external tools since then, but nearly everyone is still using them, mostly APT and PoB. On a long scale changes like that, or even the change of chaos orb stack maximum to 20, can be slighty seen as a scam to force people into paying for being able to play properly. Which is totally normal because GGG has to make money somehow atleast, and aslong as a change does not effect the "fighting stage", meaning a cosmetic item gives +10 max life or similar, any change is only for covenience or to improve accessablity... P2W does not exist in this game since WINNING is not even possible. I would be interested to hear what you think people have to do in this game to win, or at what stage a player has won. |

I dont take "P2W" literally. Nowadays this term just means that you can pay for something that gives you advantage and thats it.
